Overview
novolto P2300/P3000 and Sense devices offer local APIs for interacting with the device directly on your network, without needing novolto’s cloud. These APIs let you read sensor data, send commands and change configuration from your own energy management and home automation systems.
This page contains documentation for setting up and working with these APIs.

Available APIs

The primary API, which allows running commands, reading and writing settings, monitoring online status, etc.

A SunSpec-based Modbus server for direct local control, as an alternative to the MQTT API.
Settings reference
Section titled “Settings reference”Devices are configured through a set of namespaced settings, which can be read and changed via
web configuration, the MQTT API’s settings/get and settings/set topics, and indirectly via Modbus.
